Sometimes the testing sequence would leave a source tree
under procps-ng-(version) which, if update-potfiles was
run, would include these temporary files in the list, causing issues
later.
The script now explicitly ignores those temporary files.

Reverted the translation hint as the fields are used for both
normal and wide modes, so need to fit the smaller of the two.

@steffhip found that while the translation hint said use 9 characters in
the free headers, it really was only 7.
Currently each line is constructed with the following (in non wide format):
Header + 6 Columns. The header takes 7 characters and each column is 11
characters wide and prefixed with one space. Thus we have
7 + (1 + 11) * 6 = 79 characters for each line
By dropping the leading space for the first column after the header -the
header is already terminated by a colon- one could indeed provide the needed
9 letters for the header and thus have 9 + 11 * 1 + (1 + 11) * 5 = 80 Chars
per line which would fit into one line.

Please let's stop the nls translation insanity. With a
one time push we can eliminate the dirty tree syndrome
which surfaces with every local build. Later, before a
release, the translations can be updated in final form
then pushed just 1 more time to the gitlab repository.
I'm tired of having to always re-issue this request in
order to circumvent the problem and thus prevent a too
broad commit (not to mention some nasty side effects).

By not limiting --add-comments= via an argument, xgettext is far
too aggressive (one might say stupid) when extracting comments.
It doesn't even limit extraction to a single preceeding comment.
Here is an example showing a program source excerpt and the
resulting .pot excerpt:
--- program source ----------------------------------------
close (0); dup (in_fd[0]); /* set the stdin to the in pipe */
close (1); dup (out_fd[1]); /* set the stdout to the out pipe */
close (2); dup (out_fd[1]); /* set the stderr to the out pipe */
execvp (args[0], args); /* exec gdb */
perror (_("exec failed"));
--- resulting .pot ----------------------------------------
#. set the stdin to the in pipe
#. set the stdout to the out pipe
#. set the stderr to the out pipe
#. exec gdb
#: ps/stacktrace.c:28 ps/stacktrace.c:63
msgid "exec failed"
msgstr ""

This commit will enable pass comments to translators near gettext
directive to .pot file. For example;
/* TRANSLATORS: this is visible in .pot file */
printf(_("to be translated"));
