tests: make spencer1.tests more POSIX-compliant
* tests/spencer1.tests: Do not test the regular expression a\x as
POSIX says the interpretation of \x is undefined and we may want
to warn about it in the future, to allow for future extensions.
Instead, test a\\x, a[\]x, and ax.
