* consumer: Remove flush operationNicolas Boichat2017-12-181-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Nobody is calling the flush function for consumer_ops structure, so let's remove it to save flash space, until we find a use for it. * USART: Add DMA based receiverAnton Staaf2015-08-241-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This DMA receiver uses a separate small circular buffer to DMA into. This allows the DMA transaction to be made circular, and thus it does not require the interrupt latency to be low enough to setup the next transfer before the next character comes in. Additional diagnostics output have been added to the usart_info console command to facilitate tuning of the FIFO size. * USART: Add DMA based transmitterAnton Staaf2015-07-211-0/+90
This adds a new transmission implementation for the multi UART driver. It is a DMA based transmitter that can directly read from the TX queue with zero copy overhead. The DMA channel used as well as the maximum DMA transmission size are configurable per UART at the board level. This also updates the Ryu AP UART to use DMA transmission.
