patch 8.1.0463: "simalt ~x" in .vimrc blocks swap file promptv8.1.0463
Problem: "simalt ~x" in .vimrc blocks swap file prompt. Solution: Flush buffers before prompting. (Yasuhiro Matsumoto, closes #3518, closes #2192)
