* binman: Add add test for SPL with a microcode pointerSimon Glass2017-11-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | Add a test for this feature. It allows SPL to hold a pointer to the microcode block. This is used for 64-bit U-Boot on x86. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* binman: Increase test coverage back to 100%Simon Glass2017-11-221-7/+4
| | | | | | Make a minor tweak to fix test coverage. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* tools: binman: Add a new entry type for Intel VBTBin Meng2017-09-161-0/+14
| | | | | | | This adds a new entry type for Intel Video BIOS Table. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* fdt: Drop fdt_select.pySimon Glass2017-06-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | This file was used to select between the normal and fallback libfdt implementations. Now that we only have one, it is not needed. Drop it and fix up all users. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* binman: Rename fdt variable to dtbSimon Glass2017-06-021-5/+4
| | | | | | | Since fdt is the name of a module, use a different name for variables to avoid a conflict. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* binman: Drop a special case related to fdt_fallbackSimon Glass2017-06-021-9/+4
| | | | | | | | | Previously we were sometimes forced to collate x86 microcode due to not having access to the offset of each individual piece. Now that we never use fdt_fallback, we don't have this problem. Drop this special case from the code. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* binman: Remove hard-coded file name for x86 flash-descriptor & intel-meStefan Roese2017-04-102-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Now that we have added file names from Kconfig in x86 u-boot.dtsi, update binman to avoid using hard-coded names. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Cc: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Cc: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
* tools: binman: Handle optional microcode case in SPL imageBin Meng2017-02-071-0/+6
| | | | | | | | On platforms which do not require microcode in SPL, handle such case like U-Boot proper. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* tools: binman: Call correct init for Entry_u_boot_spl_with_ucode_ptrBin Meng2017-02-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | u_boot_spl_with_ucode_ptr is derived from u_boot_with_ucode_ptr, hence it should call its parent's init. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

| | | | | | | | Now that we have added file names from Kconfig in x86 u-boot.dtsi, update binman to avoid using hard-coded names. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* binman: Add support for building x86 images with FSP/CMCSimon Glass2016-12-202-0/+34
| | | | | | | | Add support for two more from the inexhaustible supply of x86 binary blob types. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Tested-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
* binman: Add support for building x86 ROMs with SPLSimon Glass2016-12-204-1/+74
| | | | | | | | When building for 64-bit x86 we need an SPL binary in the ROM. Add support for this. Also increase entry test code coverage to 100%. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Tested-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
* binman: Add support for u-boot.img as an input binarySimon Glass2016-12-201-0/+17
| | | | | | | Add an entry type for u-boot.img (a legacy U-Boot image) and a simple test. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Tested-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
* binman: Add support for building x86 ROMsSimon Glass2016-12-208-0/+370
| | | | | | | | | | | | The structure of x86 ROMs is pretty complex. There are various binary blobs to place in the image. Microcode requires special handling so that it is available to very early code and can be used without any memory whatsoever. Add support for the various entry types that are currently needed, along with some tests. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Tested-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
* binman: Add basic entry types for U-BootSimon Glass2016-12-206-0/+131
| | | | | | | | Add entries to support some standard U-Boot binaries, such as u-boot.bin, u-boot.dtb, etc. Also add some tests for these. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Tested-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
* binman: Introduce binman, a tool for building binary imagesSimon Glass2016-12-201-0/+200
