* Convert CONFIG_USE_PREBOOT and CONFIG_PREBOOT to KconfigSimon Glass2019-08-021-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_USE_PREBOOT CONFIG_PREBOOT Both are together in one commit, since otherwise the former causes kconfig to define the latter, which gives duplicate symbol errors. Includes a manual fixup for CONFIG_PREBOOT in ids8313_defconfig since the backslash lands in the wrong place. Similarly with socfpga_vining_fpga. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* Add CONFIG_USE_PREBOOT to boards that use CONFIG_PREBOOTSimon Glass2019-08-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | In order to use CONFIG_PREBOOT with Kconfig, CONFIG_USE_PREBOOT must be defined for each board. To prepare for conversion to Kconfig, add this. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* configs: Remove CONFIG_MARVELLChris Packham2018-11-261-1/+0
| | | | | | | | This option is defined by a few boards but doesn't guard any code. Remove it from the boards and config_whitelist.txt. Signed-off-by: Chris Packham <judge.packham@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
* configs: Migrate CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKSTom Rini2018-08-161-11/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | We have the following cases: - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was defined, migrate normally - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS_MAX was defined and then used for CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS after a check, just migrate it over now. - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was very oddly defined on p2771-0000-* (to 1024 + 2), set this to 8. * openrd: Once again shrink binary sizeTom Rini2018-07-271-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | With some recent changes to relevant drivers here the openrd board (openrd_client in this case) does not fit within its size constraint. We can however drop the slightly extended baudrate table and then the duplication of mtdparts/mtdids in the default environment. These defaults are set in the environment by the 'mtdparts' command and otherwise referenced throughout the code. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* configs: remove CONFIG_SYS_MVFSChris Packham2018-05-291-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This was being used by some Marvell boards to enable some file system related features (many of which have already been moved to Kconfig). Make the future migration of the final 2 or 3 config options easier by expanding #define CONFIG_SYS_MVFS into the options that it enables and remove CONFIG_SYS_MVFS. * SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* Convert all of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX to KconfigTom Rini2018-03-161-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_CONS_INDEX We have existing entries for this option in a number of places, with different guards on them. They're also sometimes used for things not directly inside of the serial driver. First, introduce a new symbol to guard the use of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX, so that in the case where we don't need this for the serial driver, but for some other use, we can still do it. Next, consolidate all of these into the single entry in drivers/serial/Kconfig. Finally, introduce CONS_INDEX_[023456] so that we can imply a correct value here to make the defconfig side of this smaller. * kconfig: add config option for shell promptNikita Kiryanov2015-08-131-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add option to set shell prompt string from menuconfig and migrate boards globally. The migration is done as follows: - Boards that explicitly and unconditionally set CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT had the entry moved to their defconfig files. - Boards that defined some kind of #ifdef logic which selects the CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT (for example qemu-mips) got an #undef CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT right before the #ifdef logic and were left alone. - This change forces CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT to be a per board decision, and thus CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT was removed from all <soc>_common.h and <arch>_common.h files. This results in a streamlined default value across platforms, and includes the following files: spear-common, sunxi-common, mv-common, ti_armv7_common, tegra-common, at91-sama5_common, and zynq-common. - Boards that relied on <arch/soc>_common.h values of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT were not updated in their respective defconfig files under the assumption that since they did not explicitly define a value, they're fine with whatever the default is. - On the other hand, boards that relied on a value defined in some <boards>_common.h file such as woodburn_common, rpi-common, bur_am335x_common, ls2085a_common, siemens_am33x_common, and omap3_evm_common, had their values moved to the respective defconfig files. - The define V_PROMPT was removed, since it is not used anywhere except for assigning a value for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT.
