* configs: move CONFIG_SPL_TEXT_BASE to KconfigSimon Goldschmidt2019-04-291-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | Moved CONFIG_SPL_TEXT_BASE to common/spl/Kconfig and migrate existing values. Signed-off-by: Simon Goldschmidt <simon.k.r.goldschmidt@gmail.com> [trini: Re-run migration] Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* am65x_evm: Allow bootm to load larger kernelsAndrew F. Davis2019-02-091-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | Bootm will fail to load kernels over 8MB, this is not enough for our 64bit kernel images. Increase this to 64MB. Signed-off-by: Andrew F. Davis <afd@ti.com> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Reviewed-by: Lokesh Vutla <lokeshvutla@ti.com>
* armv7r: K3: Allow SPL to run only on core 0Lokesh Vutla2018-11-261-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Based on the MCU R5 efuse settings, R5F cores in MCU domain either work in split mode or in lock step mode. If efuse settings are in lockstep mode: ROM release R5 cores and SPL continues to run on the R5 core is lockstep mode. If efuse settings are in split mode: ROM releases both the R5 cores simultaneously and allow SPL to run on both the cores. In this case it is bootloader's responsibility to detect core 1 and park it. Else both the core will be running bootloader independently which might result in an unexpected behaviour. Signed-off-by: Lokesh Vutla <lokeshvutla@ti.com> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

* include: am654_evm: Establish initial environment for SD card bootAndreas Dannenberg2018-09-111-0/+35
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Create a basic U-Boot environment that allows the automatic loading of a Linux Kernel located at /boot/Image and an associated device tree blob located at /boot/k3-am654-base-board.dtb from the secondary partition of an ext4-formatted SD card on the AM654x EVM. Furthermore the boot.scr and uEnv.txt detection and loading schemes are supported in a manner already known from other TI platforms. Note that this is intended to be a starting point to enable initial board use and will most certainly get extended and refactored as different boot media become available.
