* sunxi: define SYS_MONITOR_LEN in Kconfig, not _defconfigAndre Przywara2022-12-131-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 08574ed339fb ("Convert CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN to Kconfig") moved the definition of said config variable from the common sunxi header to *every board's* defconfig. This is a platform choice, not board specific, so remove the variable from there, instead set the one value for all Allwinner boards in Kconfig. * Convert CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN to KconfigTom Rini2022-11-101-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN To do this, we set a default of 0 for everyone because there are a number of cases where we define CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN but the only impact is that we set TOTAL_MALLOC_LEN to be CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN + CONFIG_ENV_SIZE, so we must continue to allow all boards to set this value. Update the SPL code to use 200 KB as the default raw U-Boot size directly, if we don't have a real CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN value. * sunxi: defconfig: drop redundant definitionsAndre Przywara2022-10-181-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | When some configuration symbols were converted from header files to Kconfig, their values were placed into *every* defconfig file. Since we now have sensible per-SoC defaults defined in Kconfig, those values are now redundant, and can just be removed. This affects CONFIG_SPL_STACK, CONFIG_SYS_PBSIZE, CONFIG_SPL_MAX_SIZE, and CONFIG_SYS_BOOTM_LEN. Signed-off-by: Andre Przywara <andre.przywara@arm.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SYS_BOOTM_LEN As part of this, rework error handling in boot/bootm.c so that we pass the buffer size to handle_decomp_error as CONFIG_SYS_BOOTM_LEN will not be available to host tools but we do know the size that we passed to malloc(). * sunxi: Kconfig: Fix up SPI configurationAndre Przywara2022-03-101-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 7945caf22c44 ("arm: sunxi: Enable SPI/SPI-FLASH support for A64") selected CONFIG_SPI by default on all Allwinner A64 boards, even though only 4 out of the 14 A64 boards have a SPI flash chip. All other SoCs had to manually select DM_SPI and friends, even though they are a platform property (the sunxi SPI driver is DM_SPI only). Clean this up to allow easy selection of SPI flash support in U-Boot proper, by selecting DM_SPI and DM_SPI_FLASH *if* CONFIG_SPI is selected, for *all* Allwinner SoCs. This simplifies the defconfig for two Libretech boards already. Also remove the forced CONFIG_SPI from the A64 Kconfig, instead let the four boards which allow SPI booting select this explicitly. Any board wishing to support SPI flash in U-Boot proper now just defines CONFIG_SPI and CONFIG_SPI_FLASH_<vendor> in its defconfig, Kconfig takes care of the rest. * sunxi: Remove no longer needed default options from defconfigsAndre Przywara2020-03-181-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that those common Allwinner config symbols are defined automatically for all boards in their Kconfig files, we can remove the now redundant definitions from the boards' _defconfig files. Some boards had a differing definiton for some of those symbols, it looks like mostly to "merge races" when the symbol was introduced (new board *_defconfig file missed the "add symbol to all files" patch). * sunxi: Add Libre Computer ALL-H5-CC H5 boardChen-Yu Tsai2020-01-241-0/+22
The Libre Computer ALL-H5-CC board is an upgraded version of the ALL-H3-CC. Changes include: - Gigabit Ethernet via external RTL8211E Ethernet PHY - 16 MiB SPI NOR flash memory - PoE tap header - Line out jack removed Only H5 variant test samples were made available, and the vendor is not certain whether other SoC variants would be made or not. Furthermore the board is a minor upgrade compared to the ALL-H3-CC. Thus the device tree simply includes the one for the ALL-H3-CC, and adds the changes on top. The device tree was synced over from the Linux kernel, along with other H3/H5 changes, in a previous patch. Thus only the defconfig and an entry to the MAINTAINERS file is added.
