* flash: complete CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH move with renamingMasahiro Yamada2017-02-121-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We repeated partial moves for CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH, but this is not completed. Finish this work by the tool. During this move, let's rename it to CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH. Actually, we have more instances of "#ifndef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH" than those of "#ifdef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH". Flipping the logic will make the code more readable. Besides, negative meaning symbols do not fit in obj-$(CONFIG_...) style Makefiles. This commit was created as follows: [1] Edit "default n" to "default y" in the config entry in common/Kconfig. [2] Run "tools/moveconfig.py -y -r HEAD SYS_NO_FLASH" [3] Rename the instances in defconfigs by the following: find . -path './configs/*_defconfig' | xargs sed -i \ -e '/CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH=y/d' \ -e 's/# CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH is not set/CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH=y/' [4] Change the conditionals by the following: find . -name '*.[ch]' | xargs sed -i \ -e 's/ifndef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH/ifdef CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH/' \ -e 's/ifdef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH/ifndef CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH/' \ -e 's/!defined(CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH)/defined(CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH)/' \ -e 's/defined(CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH)/!defined(CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH)/' [5] Modify the following manually - Rename the rest of instances - Remove the description from README - Create the new Kconfig entry in drivers/mtd/Kconfig - Remove the old Kconfig entry from common/Kconfig - Remove the garbage comments from include/configs/*.h Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
* Kconfig: Migrate BOARD_LATE_INIT to a selectTom Rini2017-01-241-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | This option should not really be user selectable. Note that on PowerPC we currently only need BOARD_LATE_INIT when CHAIN_OF_TRUST is enabled so be conditional on that. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Acked-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com> (for UniPhier)

* Move existing use of CONFIG_SPL_RSA to KconfigSimon Glass2016-09-161-0/+1
| | | | | | | A few boards define this in a header file which is incorrect. It means that Kconfig options that rely on this cannot be used. Move it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* configs: Migrate CONFIG_USB_STORAGETom Rini2016-09-091-0/+2

| | | | | | | Update the config.h and defconfig files for the commands that 8e3c036 converted over to Kconfig Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* configs: Re-sync almost all of cmd/KconfigTom Rini2016-04-251-0/+6
| | | | | | | | This syncs up the current cmd/Kconfig and include/configs/ files with the only exception being CMD_NAND. Due to how we have used this historically we need to take further care here when converting. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* configs: Re-sync HUSH optionsTom Rini2016-04-251-0/+1
| | | | | | | Move all cases of CONFIG_SYS_HUSH_PARSER out of the config.h files. Remove all cases of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 as everyone uses the default. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* Kconfig: Move CONFIG_FIT and related options to KconfigSimon Glass2016-03-141-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this. Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration: CONFIG_FIT CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE CONFIG_OF_STDOUT_VIA_ALIAS CONFIG_RSA Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot and SPL. Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing. * freescale: Remove CONFIG_DM from header filesSimon Glass2016-03-141-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | Kconfig options must defined in the defconfig files. Since RSA_SOFTWARE_EXP relies on CONFIG_DM, unless it is set in kconfig we cannot enable RSA. Remove the hacks which enable CONFIG_DM in header files and update the defconfig. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* sf: Move SPI flash drivers to defconfigBin Meng2015-11-251-0/+1
| | | | | | | | There are already Kconfig options for SPI flash drivers, but we have not moved them from config.h to defconfig files. This commit does this in a batch. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>

* Move defaults from config_cmd_default.h to KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-251-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | This sets the default commands Kconfig to match include/config_cmd_default.h commands in the common/Kconfig and removes them from include/configs. * Move default y configs out of arch/board KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-251-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate. Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs. A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry. Those appear to be: SPIFLASH DISPLAY_BOARDINFO Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com> [trini: rastaban, am43xx_evm_usbhost_boot, am43xx_evm_ethboot updates, drop DM_USB from MSI_Primo81 as USB_MUSB_SUNXI isn't converted yet to DM] Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

* Clean all defconfigs with savedefconfigJoe Hershberger2015-05-121-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | In order to reduce merge conflicts and to maintain the simplest possible defconfig files, we should be using the savedefconfig feature of Kconfig every time a new feature is added. This keeps the defconfig settings to a minimum (only those things not default) and keeps them in the same order as the Kconfig options.
