| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | [ Upstream commit 0724a7c32a54e3e50d28e19e30c59014f61d4e2c ] If a 'mainmenu' entry appeared in the Kconfig files, two things would leak: - The 'struct property' allocated for the default "Linux Kernel Configuration" prompt. - The string for the T_WORD/T_WORD_QUOTE prompt after the T_MAINMENU token, allocated on the heap in zconf.l. To fix it, introduce a new 'no_mainmenu_stmt' nonterminal that matches if there's no 'mainmenu' and adds the default prompt. That means the prompt only gets allocated once regardless of whether there's a 'mainmenu' statement or not, and managing it becomes simple. The line in question is actually just a #define, but after some digging it turns out that my scripts pass W=1 and since commit 3a025e1d1c2ea ("Add optional check for bad kernel-doc comments") that results in kernel-doc running on each source file. The file in question has a badly formatted comment immediately before the #define: /** * struct brcmf_skbuff_cb reserves first two bytes in sk_buff::cb for * bus layer usage. */ which causes the regex in dump_struct to fail (lack of braces following struct declaration) and kernel-doc returns 1, which causes the build to fail. Fix the issue by always returning 0 from kernel-doc when invoked with -none. It successfully generates no documentation, and prints out any issues. Currently an allyesconfig build [gcc-4.9.1] can generate the following: WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text.unlikely+0x3864): Section mismatch in reference from the function cpumask_empty.constprop.3() to the variable .init.data:nmi_ipi_mask which comes from the cpumask_empty usage in arch/x86/kernel/nmi_selftest.c. Normally we would not see a symbol entry for cpumask_empty since it is: static inline bool cpumask_empty(const struct cpumask *srcp) however in this case, the variant of the symbol gets emitted when GCC does constant propagation optimization. Fix things up so that any locally optimized constprop variants don't warn when accessing variables that live in the __init sections. It also doesn't check for this failure, so it busy-loops calling wgetch(NULL) which immediately returns -1. The additions in the offset calculations also don't match the intended size of the window. Limit the window size and calculate the offset similarly to show_scroll_win(). Fix this by replacing the catch-all (".") with anything that's not a semicolon ("[^;]").
