* War on whitespaceJunio C Hamano2007-06-071-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | This uses "git-apply --whitespace=strip" to fix whitespace errors that have crept in to our source files over time. There are a few files that need to have trailing whitespaces (most notably, test vectors). The results still passes the test, and build result in Documentation/ area is unchanged. | | | | | | | | | The description which files git-config uses and how the various command line options and environment variables affect its behaviour was incomplete, outdated and confusing. Signed-off-by: Frank Lichtenheld <frank@lichtenheld.de> Signed-off-by: Junio C Hamano <junkio@cox.net>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Previous formulation could make it appear as removing all lines matching a regexp (at least, I was looking for such a flag, and confused this flag for what I was looking for).
