[__GNUC__] (POSIX_SIGNALS): #define this.
[__GNUC__] (sigsetmask, HAVE_SYSV_SIGPAUSE): #undef these.
(LIBX11_SYSTEM): Don't use -lc; loading this before -lcposix gives us the
wrong signal functions.
(C_SWITCH_SYSTEM): Add _XOPEN_SOURCE.
(EXTRA_INITIALIZE): Make conditional on __GNUC__.
