<p>이 모듈은 표준 <module>worker</module> MPM의 실험적인
변형이다. 이 모듈은 쓰레드간의 협동을 위해 Leader/Followers
디자인패턴을 사용한다. 더 자세한 정보는 <a

<p><module>leader</module> MPM을 사용하려면,
<code>httpd</code>를 컴파일할때 <code>configure</code>
스크립트 아규먼트에 <code>--with-mpm=leader</code>를
사용한다.</p>
<p>이 MPM은 쓰레드 동기를 위해 APR의 atomic compare-and-swap
명령을 사용한다. x86용으로 컴파일하지만 386을 지원할 필요가
없거나, SPARC용으로 컴파일하지만 UltraSPARC 칩 이전에서
실행하지 않는다면, <code>configure</code> 스크립트 아규먼트에
<code>--enable-nonportable-atomics=yes</code>를 사용하라.
그러면 APR이 오래된 CPU에는 없는 더 효율적인 명령어를 사용하여
atomic 명령을 구현한다.</p>
