This was broken by changes in c4bf91813c787b503eaeaa1d372f271d4638a16d
which expected 'depmod' to be present in all systems.
It would be annoying to prevent anyone from using modules, but it also
defeats the point of minimal-system to start adding bits of the
'foundation' stratum.
This hack to only run 'depmod' if it is present in the system seems like
a reasonable compromise, until we have a nice way of customising the
Linux config for different systems.

It no longer works because we use the 'distbuild' command instead of the
'distbuild-morphology' command.
Morph puts distbuild build logs in a subdirectory now, anyway, so we
don't need to worry about that in this script.

Recent changes in the definitions format have added VERSION and CHANGES
files. The morphlib API needs to be used slightly differently as a
result.
This change should have no effect on the operation of the script right
now, but it may prevent problems in future.

There's no 'distbuild-morphology' command any more, but this script
expects to run from a definitions clone anyway, so we can use the
'distbuild' command.
Also, the 'search_for_workspace' parameter is gone, because workspaces
are going/gone.

This is required to build recent evolution
It's also just required, current nss is getting old.
New build approach follows LFS instructions here:

This patch add KMS DRM kernel drivers for:
- cirrus, wich is the default adapter in qemu < 2.2
- std, wicht is the default in qemu >= 2.2
With this, weston will use its native DRM backend under qemu, so it's not
needed to use the fbdev-backend anymore
This also make possible to run the GNOME wayland session in qemu, simply
run from a terminal:
gnome-session --session=gnome-wayland

telepathy-haze uses pidgin's libpurple to enable
various protocols such as AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, etc
This enables a better experience for GNOME empathy.
Note that here we point to a ref with a downstream
patch applied, building latest stable pidgin with
new gstreamer APIs requires this patch:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/blfs/svn/pidgin-2.10.11-gstreamer1-1.patch
