From 8d8049981671e69ff526ec9fc980b59f54954c1a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Sam Thursfield Date: Wed, 15 Aug 2012 16:16:15 +0100 Subject: Remove gnome-autogen.sh Fix from https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=681555 This was causing problems because Busybox sh (possibly due to a bug) sources files from cwd before PATH so was using the stale version of gnome-autogen.sh bundled with this module. This in turn failed for Baserock because it was unaware of automake > 1.9. --- autogen.sh | 28 ++-- gnome-autogen.sh | 427 ------------------------------------------------------- 2 files changed, 14 insertions(+), 441 deletions(-) delete mode 100644 gnome-autogen.sh diff --git a/autogen.sh b/autogen.sh index d3e9906..40ed02b 100755 --- a/autogen.sh +++ b/autogen.sh @@ -1,21 +1,21 @@ #!/bin/sh # Run this to generate all the initial makefiles, etc. -srcdir=`dirname $0` -test -z "$srcdir" && srcdir=. -abs_srcdir=`(cd $srcdir && pwd)` +test -n "$srcdir" || srcdir=`dirname "$0"` +test -n "$srcdir" || srcdir=. -PKG_NAME="yelp-tools" +OLDDIR=`pwd` +cd $srcdir -(test -f $srcdir/configure.ac && test -f $srcdir/tools/yelp.m4) || { - echo -n "**Error**: Directory "\`$srcdir\'" does not look like the" - echo " top-level $PKG_NAME directory" - exit 1 -} +AUTORECONF=`which autoreconf` +if test -z $AUTORECONF; then + echo "*** No autoreconf found, please intall it ***" + exit 1 +fi + +autoreconf --force --install --verbose + +cd $OLDDIR +test -n "$NOCONFIGURE" || "$srcdir/configure" "$@" -which gnome-autogen.sh || { - echo "You need to install gnome-common from the git.gnome.org" - exit 1 -} -REQUIRED_AUTOMAKE_VERSION=1.9 USE_GNOME2_MACROS=1 . gnome-autogen.sh diff --git a/gnome-autogen.sh b/gnome-autogen.sh deleted file mode 100644 index f6c959c..0000000 --- a/gnome-autogen.sh +++ /dev/null @@ -1,427 +0,0 @@ -#!/bin/sh -# Run this to generate all the initial makefiles, etc. - -# Copied from gnome-common to avoid circular dependency -# Based on revision 1.15, with g-d-u checks removed - -#name of package -PKG_NAME=${PKG_NAME:-Package} -srcdir=${srcdir:-.} - -# default version requirements ... -REQUIRED_AUTOCONF_VERSION=${REQUIRED_AUTOCONF_VERSION:-2.53} -REQUIRED_AUTOMAKE_VERSION=${REQUIRED_AUTOMAKE_VERSION:-1.4} -REQUIRED_LIBTOOL_VERSION=${REQUIRED_LIBTOOL_VERSION:-1.4.3} -REQUIRED_GETTEXT_VERSION=${REQUIRED_GETTEXT_VERSION:-0.10.40} -REQUIRED_GLIB_GETTEXT_VERSION=${REQUIRED_GLIB_GETTEXT_VERSION:-2.2.0} -REQUIRED_INTLTOOL_VERSION=${REQUIRED_INTLTOOL_VERSION:-0.25} -REQUIRED_PKG_CONFIG_VERSION=${REQUIRED_PKG_CONFIG_VERSION:-0.14.0} -REQUIRED_GTK_DOC_VERSION=${REQUIRED_GTK_DOC_VERSION:-1.0} -REQUIRED_DOC_COMMON_VERSION=${REQUIRED_DOC_COMMON_VERSION:-2.3.0} -REQUIRED_GNOME_DOC_UTILS_VERSION=${REQUIRED_GNOME_DOC_UTILS_VERSION:-0.1.3} - -# a list of required m4 macros.
