From 3f1266d6d5bf14ea7248544db8406d308c6bfa7c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Lo=C3=AFc=20Minier?= Date: Tue, 4 Jan 2011 02:32:36 +0100 Subject: Escape minus signs in manpage MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit By default, "-" chars are interpreted as hyphens (U+2010) by groff, not as minus signs (U+002D). Since options to programs use minus signs (U+002D), this means for example in UTF-8 locales that you cannot cut and paste options, nor search for them easily. (Reported by lintian.)
