From 4cdf746f5bb38db60821047c3393f89f15b26f1e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Alan Conway Date: Wed, 15 Jun 2011 20:15:51 +0000 Subject: QPID-3280: Performance problem with TTL messages. When sending a large number of messages with nonzero TTLs to a cluster, overall message throughput drops by around 20-30% compared to messages with TTL 0. The previous approach to TTL in the cluster is replaced with a simpler "cluster clock". Also QueueCleaner is executed in the cluster timer, and modified to be deterministic in a cluster. git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/qpid/trunk/qpid@1136170 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68 --- cpp/src/tests/QueueTest.cpp | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'cpp/src/tests/QueueTest.cpp') diff --git a/cpp/src/tests/QueueTest.cpp b/cpp/src/tests/QueueTest.cpp index 34e4592a15..6fdc4c69ad 100644 --- a/cpp/src/tests/QueueTest.cpp +++ b/cpp/src/tests/QueueTest.cpp @@ -681,7 +681,7 @@ QPID_AUTO_TEST_CASE(testPurgeExpired) { addMessagesToQueue(10, queue); BOOST_CHECK_EQUAL(queue.getMessageCount(), 10u); ::usleep(300*1000); - queue.purgeExpired(); + queue.purgeExpired(0); BOOST_CHECK_EQUAL(queue.getMessageCount(), 5u); } @@ -692,7 +692,7 @@ QPID_AUTO_TEST_CASE(testQueueCleaner) { addMessagesToQueue(10, *queue, 200, 400); BOOST_CHECK_EQUAL(queue->getMessageCount(), 10u); - QueueCleaner cleaner(queues, timer); + QueueCleaner cleaner(queues, &timer); cleaner.start(100 * qpid::sys::TIME_MSEC); ::usleep(300*1000); BOOST_CHECK_EQUAL(queue->getMessageCount(), 5u); -- cgit v1.2.1
