From 7182135189d1942d8538a0d0c17fc79f5cb82c71 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Petr Baudis Date: Thu, 23 Nov 2006 23:58:35 +0100 Subject: Make git-clone --use-separate-remote the default We've talked about this for quite some time on the list, and it is a sane thing to do for a repository with an associcated working tree. For somebody who wants to use the traditional layout, there is a backward compatibility option --use-immingled-remote, but it is expected to be removed before the next major release.
