(vc-cvs-dir-state): Use vc-cvs-command.
(vc-cvs-could-register, vc-cvs-make-version-backups-p): Use defalias. (vc-cvs-merge-news): Simplify. (vc-cvs-diff): Remove unused var `options'. (vc-cvs-parse-entry): Use the same algorithm as cvs does.
