From a0457793b668a31968d757df3a473573a0da0615 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Guido van Rossum Date: Sat, 8 Dec 2001 18:02:58 +0000 Subject: Patch supplied by Burton Radons for his own SF bug #487390: Modifying type.__module__ behavior. This adds the module name and a dot in front of the type name in every type object initializer, except for built-in types (and those that already had this). Note that it touches lots of Mac modules -- I have no way to test these but the changes look right. Apologies if they're not. This also touches the weakref docs, which contains a sample type object initializer. It also touches the mmap test output, because the mmap type's repr is included in that output. It touches object.h to put the correct description in a comment. --- Modules/selectmodule.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'Modules/selectmodule.c') diff --git a/Modules/selectmodule.c b/Modules/selectmodule.c index 348987b603..e5aa6eb8fc 100644 --- a/Modules/selectmodule.c +++ b/Modules/selectmodule.c @@ -567,7 +567,7 @@ statichere PyTypeObject poll_Type = { * to be portable to Windows without using C++. */ PyObject_HEAD_INIT(NULL) 0, /*ob_size*/ - "poll", /*tp_name*/ + "select.poll", /*tp_name*/ sizeof(pollObject), /*tp_basicsize*/ 0, /*tp_itemsize*/ /* methods */ -- cgit v1.2.1
