From 55edd0c185ad2d895b5d73e47d67049bc156b654 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Siddhesh Poyarekar Date: Mon, 30 Apr 2018 00:29:33 +0530 Subject: bpo-33012: Fix invalid function cast warnings with gcc 8 for METH_NOARGS. (GH-6030) METH_NOARGS functions need only a single argument but they are cast into a PyCFunction, which takes two arguments. This triggers an invalid function cast warning in gcc8 due to the argument mismatch. Fix this by adding a dummy unused argument. --- Objects/exceptions.c | 6 +++--- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) (limited to 'Objects/exceptions.c') diff --git a/Objects/exceptions.c b/Objects/exceptions.c index 2cce40f884..bfc818f7b4 100644 --- a/Objects/exceptions.c +++ b/Objects/exceptions.c @@ -126,7 +126,7 @@ BaseException_repr(PyBaseExceptionObject *self) /* Pickling support */ static PyObject * -BaseException_reduce(PyBaseExceptionObject *self) +BaseException_reduce(PyBaseExceptionObject *self, PyObject *Py_UNUSED(ignored)) { if (self->args && self->dict) return PyTuple_Pack(3, Py_TYPE(self), self->args, self->dict); @@ -713,7 +713,7 @@ ImportError_getstate(PyImportErrorObject *self) /* Pickling support */ static PyObject * -ImportError_reduce(PyImportErrorObject *self) +ImportError_reduce(PyImportErrorObject *self, PyObject *Py_UNUSED(ignored)) { PyObject *res; PyObject *args; @@ -1123,7 +1123,7 @@ OSError_str(PyOSErrorObject *self) } static PyObject * -OSError_reduce(PyOSErrorObject *self) +OSError_reduce(PyOSErrorObject *self, PyObject *Py_UNUSED(ignored)) { PyObject *args = self->args; PyObject *res = NULL, *tmp; -- cgit v1.2.1
