From 55edd0c185ad2d895b5d73e47d67049bc156b654 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Siddhesh Poyarekar Date: Mon, 30 Apr 2018 00:29:33 +0530 Subject: bpo-33012: Fix invalid function cast warnings with gcc 8 for METH_NOARGS. (GH-6030) METH_NOARGS functions need only a single argument but they are cast into a PyCFunction, which takes two arguments. This triggers an invalid function cast warning in gcc8 due to the argument mismatch. Fix this by adding a dummy unused argument. --- Modules/_struct.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'Modules/_struct.c') diff --git a/Modules/_struct.c b/Modules/_struct.c index 053970671f..0be52d9ab9 100644 --- a/Modules/_struct.c +++ b/Modules/_struct.c @@ -1629,7 +1629,7 @@ unpackiter_traverse(unpackiterobject *self, visitproc visit, void *arg) } static PyObject * -unpackiter_len(unpackiterobject *self) +unpackiter_len(unpackiterobject *self, PyObject *Py_UNUSED(ignored)) { Py_ssize_t len; if (self->so == NULL) -- cgit v1.2.1
