From 8c663fd60ecba9c82aa4c404dbfb1aae69fe8553 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Victor Stinner Date: Wed, 8 Nov 2017 14:44:44 -0800 Subject: Replace KB unit with KiB (#4293) kB (*kilo* byte) unit means 1000 bytes, whereas KiB ("kibibyte") means 1024 bytes. KB was misused: replace kB or KB with KiB when appropriate. Same change for MB and GB which become MiB and GiB. Change the output of Tools/iobench/iobench.py. Round also the size of the documentation from 5.5 MB to 5 MiB. --- Lib/test/_test_multiprocessing.py | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'Lib/test/_test_multiprocessing.py') diff --git a/Lib/test/_test_multiprocessing.py b/Lib/test/_test_multiprocessing.py index d4e8a8a7e1..dbca2d89ed 100644 --- a/Lib/test/_test_multiprocessing.py +++ b/Lib/test/_test_multiprocessing.py @@ -4221,7 +4221,7 @@ class TestIgnoreEINTR(unittest.TestCase): conn.send('ready') x = conn.recv() conn.send(x) - conn.send_bytes(b'x'*(1024*1024)) # sending 1 MB should block + conn.send_bytes(b'x' * (1024 * 1024)) # sending 1 MiB should block @unittest.skipUnless(hasattr(signal, 'SIGUSR1'), 'requires SIGUSR1') def test_ignore(self): -- cgit v1.2.1
