From 31e6ad7d640283af4c4f6b01fef9e6a4a17f1535 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Mike Frysinger Date: Wed, 5 Jun 2013 01:42:13 +0000 Subject: sim: use AM_MAINTAINER_MODE I noticed the sim code is using an old implementation of the maintainer logic. I cut it over to the new macro (like gdb has been doing). In practice, it makes no difference currently as nothing in the sim tree uses it, but I have a follow up commit for the Blackfin tree that needs it. --- sim/cris/configure | 41 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++------------- 1 file changed, 28 insertions(+), 13 deletions(-) (limited to 'sim/cris/configure') diff --git a/sim/cris/configure b/sim/cris/configure index 19aae1459aa..f3efb3833c8 100755 --- a/sim/cris/configure +++ b/sim/cris/configure @@ -615,6 +615,8 @@ sim_debug sim_cflags sim_bswap MAINT +MAINTAINER_MODE_FALSE +MAINTAINER_MODE_TRUE lt_cv_dlopen_libs OTOOL64 OTOOL @@ -1406,7 +1408,8 @@ Optional Features: --enable-fast-install[=PKGS] optimize for fast installation [default=yes] --disable-libtool-lock avoid locking (might break parallel builds) - --enable-maintainer-mode Enable developer functionality. + --enable-maintainer-mode enable make rules and dependencies not useful + (and sometimes confusing) to the casual installer --enable-sim-bswap Use Host specific BSWAP instruction. --enable-sim-cflags=opts Extra CFLAGS for use in building simulator --enable-sim-debug=opts Enable debugging flags @@ -12283,7 +12286,7 @@ else lt_dlunknown=0; lt_dlno_uscore=1; lt_dlneed_uscore=2 lt_status=$lt_dlunknown cat > conftest.$ac_ext <<_LT_EOF -#line 12286 "configure" +#line 12289 "configure" #include "confdefs.h" #if HAVE_DLFCN_H @@ -12389,7 +12392,7 @@ else lt_dlunknown=0; lt_dlno_uscore=1; lt_dlneed_uscore=2 lt_status=$lt_dlunknown cat > conftest.$ac_ext <<_LT_EOF -#line 12392 "configure" +#line 12395 "configure" #include "confdefs.h" #if HAVE_DLFCN_H @@ -12632,21 +12635,29 @@ CC="$lt_save_CC" -USE_MAINTAINER_MODE=no -# Check whether --enable-maintainer-mode was given. + +{ $as_echo "$as_me:${as_lineno-$LINENO}: checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles" >&5 +$as_echo_n "checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles...
